The Clerk-Treasurer’s office deals with many aspects of the city government. As an extension of all city services and city departments, the clerk-treasurer’s office provides support to city utilities, city income tax, accounts payables and receivables, city employees payroll and resources and cemetery deeds


         Utility Services
                 Applications for new electric, water, refuse, cable and/or internet
                 Disconnects for all utility services
                 Address changes, name changes, mailing address changes
                 Collection of utility payments
                 Questions pertaining to utility billing and payments

          City Income Tax
                 Mailing and filing of annual income tax forms
                 Collection of income tax payments
                 Income tax forms, individual, corporation, withholding
                 Applications for new resident/business accounts, employer withholding
                 Auditing of income tax returns

         Accounts Payable/Receivables
                 Purchase order maintenance, Invoice processing, Check processing
                 Collection/receipting of all city revenues
                 
         Payroll
                 Processes city employees payroll.
                 Deals with city employees insurance, benefits, worker’s compensation
                 and new employee orientation

         Cemetery records
                 Maintains cemetery deeds and lots for the Fountain City Cemetery
