A message from the Fountain City Amphitheater Coordinator, Jeffrey Tonjes
Dear Potential Sponsor,
On behalf of the City of Bryan Parks & Recreation Department, the Fountain City Amphitheater Planning Committee, and Project 2020, an initiative of the Bryan Area Foundation, we wanted to let you know have extended the Marketing Promotion until May 15, 2023, to get your name and/or company on our banners, website, press releases, and all other marketing materials. I invite you to consider sponsorship of the Fountain City Amphitheater’s second summer season. We had many expenses involved in bringing the entertainment in 2022 and through donations from our community we were be able to offer a variety of high-quality entertainment free of charge to the residents of Bryan.
Sponsorship dollars raised help to offset the cost of acts, lighting, and sound required for entertaining the members of our community free of charge. These sponsorships are charitable in nature and can be financially recognized as such.
For the 2023 summer season we have MORE planned, and we can’t wait for you to see the list of events in our brochure which we have included for your perusal. Some highlights include:
- With his music videos having internet views exceeding 200 million and booking in every corner of the globe, Luca Stricagnoli, May 19th at 8 PM, is considered to be one of the most unique guitarists in the world. His music gave him the chance to play in over 20 countries, in front of up to 12,000 people, and grabbed the attention of famous bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Walk Off The Earth. We will also be hosting an EDUCATION OUTREACH at BHS.
- Mac Powell, June 3 at 7:30 PM, is originally from Alabama, where he co-founded the Christian rock band Third Day. Throughout their nearly three-decade career, the band sold over 10 million albums, earned four Grammy Awards, one American Music Award, 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Since, Third Day’s farewell tour in 2018 Mac released a country album “Back Again” under the banner “Mac Powell & The Family Reunion” and on October 15th, 2021, he released his debut solo Christian album “New Creation” which landed at NO.1 on the Top Christian & Gospel album chart. Exclusive Sponsor Bard Manufacturing,
- Through a Facebook survey last year we brought you one of the best Journey Tribute Band, Frontiers, this year we will bring you Forever Simon & Garfunkel on July 8th at 8 PM. Celebrating the bestselling duo in rock’n’roll history with humor, soaring energy, charm, and laser precise harmonies, Forever Simon & Garfunkel will lead you on a journey from the groups early success as a folk act to their global dominance as hit-makers through the best of Paul Simon’s solo career. Iconic songs include The Sounds Of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Mrs. Robinson, and many more! Award-winning singer-songwriters Sean Altman (Rockapella) & Jack Skuller (Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Buddy Holly Prize) bring this remarkable show to the stage.
- During Day in the Park we, along with Spangler Candy, will be hosting Rockland Road right before the amazing fireworks. Rockland Road is six musicians who share the last name Martin—representing four generations of musical heritage. It is a powerhouse group featuring soulful vocals imbued with a pure, exuberant joy worthy of the talented blood that flows through this family’s veins. Grammy-winning artist x Martin, lead singer/guitarist of country-pop supergroup Exile, met and married Jamie Allen, daughter of Duane Allen, a member of Country Music Hall of Fame gospel group The Oak Ridge Boys, and Grand Ole Opry background singer Norah Lee Allen. Individually and collectively, Paul and Jamie’s four children were exposed early to a rich musical existence, and they watched as each child demonstrated God-given musical talent early on.
- And finally, we will continue our FREE Worship at the AMP co-sponsored again by The Bryan Area Ministerial Association, Yoga with Clarissa Votaw, Story Time at the AMP, two comedy nights, and new this year Family Craft Nights.
On this page you will find a link to the Fountain City Amphitheater Sponsorship Brochure and sign-up form. Each sponsorship level has a unique set of perks for you or your business. Sponsorship dollars raised help to offset the cost of acts, lighting, and sound required for entertaining the members of our community free of charge. These sponsorships are charitable in nature and can be financially recognized as such.
Here’s to a great Third season for the Amphitheater and I hope you will join us at one of our numerous events throughout the summer. We greatly appreciate your consideration of this request, as your donation will help make the City of Bryan a great place to live, work and lay! We hope to see you at the Fountain City Amphitheater this season.
