IMPORTANT NOTICE – INCOME TAX FILING EXTENSION

As a result of the IRS extending the federal income tax filing due date, the City of Bryan 2020 Income Tax filing due date is now May 17, 2021.  Tax payments and 1st and 2nd quarter estimates are extended to May 17, 2021. Associated interest, additions to tax, and penalties for late payment for 2020 filings will also be suspended until May 17, 2021.  Late file fees will be added to returns filed beyond the revised May 17, 2021 due date if no extension is on file or a copy of the federal extension is NOT attached to the 2020 Bryan City Income Tax return.

The clerk treasurer’s office administers many aspects of the City of Bryan government. As an extension of all city services and city departments, the office provides daily operational support to city utilities, city income tax, city council, board of public affairs, and processes cemetery deeds.

For accounts payable/receivable, the office handles purchase order maintenance, invoice processing, checking processing & distribution, and collection/receipting of all city revenues. The office also processes employee payroll; coordinates city employees’ insurance, benefit and workers compensation; and handles new employee orientation.

All financial records are made available to the State of Ohio Auditor’s Office during the city’s annual audit.
