Bryan City Council passed a golf cart ordinance allowing residents to operate low-speed vehicles within the city limits. Specific provisions are required and include having a successful inspection completed by officers of the Bryan Police Department. Inspections can be scheduled starting June 20th by appointment only – Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. You must call 419-633-6050 (option 1) to schedule the inspection. Inspections cost $50 and must be renewed by February 28th of each calendar year. The inspection sheet will allow low-speed vehicles to be registered through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, which is required by the State of Ohio. Low-speed vehicles that are operated in the City of Bryan must have an inspection and a sticker showing successful completion from the Bryan Police Department.
